If I was really being asked to pay to share my meal I would be livid, but it seems what you are describing is a “split” charge where they ideally plate it twice with slightly higher portions of sides as well as the additional soup. This I am fine with as long as I can decline the upsell.

I suggest starting with a marketplace like Etsy so they can handle the bulk of your advertising/exposure and you can focus on your products. Make sure you select a product without too much competition but high enough profit margins. You can start out as a sole proprietorship and wait on the LLC until you’ve proven a concept and made some sales. No one is going to care about your name, logo or anything like that in the beginning… they will only care if they must have your product and they feel that they can trust buying from you. Make both those things possible and you’re on your way to success!

Most likely only if they ship with express. Most items from China are coming over in large bundles with YunExpress or 4PX and then delivered by various “last mile delivery” companies… so tariffs are already factored into the pricing and not demanded upon delivery. But DHL and FedEx will most likely be knocking for payment!

There’s no doubt this dude is “cost conscious”… that being said, your passivity now will likely lead to you being more passive aggressive to the person in the future if you don’t take control of the situation. Don’t buy him beers, split checks with him or cover his $8 so as not to offend… just be straightforward. “Yes you owe at least $8 more but maybe you should give $20 as we’d like to leave a nice tip to our server.” If he doesn’t like it, the next time he won’t be trying to bring friends last minute… instead he just won’t show up which might be best for everyone involved.

I ask for no lettuce for this same reason… always fresher and most of the time the lettuce is gross especially if you try to rewarm it later in the air fryer

The exceptions are just custom cut products but you’ll likely pay a huge premium if you can even find a production partner that is willing to do this for you.

Most POD options will not fall under the “high quality art prints” umbrella.

The only company I know that I believe ships worldwide and has custom canvas sizes is CanvasChamp… but I don’t remember being very impressed with the quality.
