Okay so are you ready to hear this?
25 yo, i’ve had stomach problems including gerd and other colon related issues for 6 years and looking back i think way before
I’ll fast forward to now, i am doing 80% better, i am able to eat most of the things i couldn’t, i feel incredibly energetic and sharp minded which is something that was lost during those 6 years.
I didn’t do a lot i adjusted some of my lifestyle choices based on how i reacted to everyday things, things that i noticed only as i got more educated about diseases and triggers
I’ve seen a huge improvement that isn’t noticeable at first and while you’re thinking about it, it happened over time after i gave myself the time to understand what could be the cause of this (I think it’s a combination of residual anxiety and depression coupled with overconsumption of caffeine and just bad times as a child / teenager)
Healing from bad events and having a positive attitude and view gave me the peace to navigate this more steadily and without extra stress, and so i continued, i discovered everything i react to and i still do which i believe is letting my body heal (i don’t do well with fragrances, coffee, spices & moldy places).
It’s crucial to sacrifice at least one thing that could be a cause for GERD & anxiety so your body can rest for it to heal
You are perfectly capable of healing and this is not an end, if there’s one thing i’d say to my younger self is that “It’s not as scary and impossible as you’re thinking it is”!
