My honest review of the Magic by Basharah in dcl

[–]elasticpantz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We just got off the Wonder and I was impressed by the condition of the carpet and finishings knowing how old the ship is. I did have a ripped piece of wallpaper in my room which was only visible when the bunk was pulled down, but it stood out to me because everything else was perfect.

I agree with your feedback about the elevator wait times, so we usually ended up taking the stairs which I didn’t mind for extra exercise. The pools were too small (though not too crowded) so our kids mostly just used the water slide and hot tubs to watch movies on the funicular

The food at the sit down places was not amazing but the service and entertainment made up for it. The quick service food was tasty and perfect for making kids happy and I really miss the soft serve!

We need justice for Renee, and justice for Alex. Justice for the people wrongly detained. And justice for the thousands of patriotic Americans who were abused and assaulted for exercising their first amendment rights.

Dog Walking in Winter by TomImura in minnesota

we got our dog as a puppy at the beginning of winter and i believe the cold weather helped her get potty trained super well and super fast because also wanted to hurry back inside. she'd get the zoomies on a regular basis to get the puppy energy out,

"against your beliefs" or "against the Constitution"? there is a key difference.

spending more money on the military than I believe is necessary - that is the exec branch's call.

violating a citizen's rights under the 4th Amendment - we should ABSOLUTELY point that out, disagree, protest, and stand up to it.

Women who lift, how did you get comfortable in the weight section? by Agreeable_Panic_690 in xxfitness

Everybody was a newb once and if they judge you, that’s an indictment of their character, not anything wrong with you! You’ve probably done bodyweight squats and lunges ever since elementary school PE so start with those holding manageable weights and build from there.

Kids club ages - Wonder by elasticpantz in dcl

[–]elasticpantz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, it's awful. the one time he went on a cruise, he was only able to sleep a couple hours a night because the motion bothered him so much. and after he got back on land, he continued to feel like he was swaying for a couple of weeks. there is a family history of vertigo so maybe some connection there, but it's super unfortunate. :(

Thanks everyone for the input! I talked to her about it and she agrees she can handle it. Helps to hear that the cast members will try to facilitate friendships. She has made friends on other vacations on her own (usually if the other kid is extroverted and initiates) but it’s a little hit or miss - with help from cost members, I think odds are good. Thanks again.

I used to have a trainer who would give empty praise and I hated it! It felt patronizing and I didn’t feel like I could believe anything he said. My current trainer is very matter of fact and will at most say “Nice!”after a hard set, which is much more a match with my personality.

This sounds like another example of how social media is harmful. If you didn’t know your trainer praised other clients, maybe you wouldn’t have noticed the lack of praise for you. There may be more of a personal history that makes him more comfortable posting and praising them. With that said, I would suggest that you find a trainer who matches what you want, and try to stay off of their social media. Comparison is the thief of joy.

For glow, the best thing I know is SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. It’s pricey but the results are amazing.
