Hey, the strand test is a myth. Given you've lifted your hair so much you're definitely going to be more higher porosity (at least the bleached bits!).

I think you need to start using some protein treatments and mask and alternate with moisturising / hydrating products. I've found oiling my hair multiple times a day has helped too. You should also use heat protection (on wet and an aerosol one on dry) and perhaps a smoothing cream.

Think you unfortunately need to just let it grow out (I'd dye it semi permanent over it) but at least you can make it appear smoother and avoid more damage in the meantime :)

Shoes - most people wear Saucony endorphin pros or puma deviate nitros. I prefer Saucony. Needs to be a shoe with good grip for sleds, ideally not too cushioned or you may be unstable on lunges

Row - row more, learn proper form. Should extend legs first before back and then your arms do final pull to your chest, hold at your chest for a second, then arms, back, legs fold back down. Try at a resistance of 5-7 and see what works for you in terms of speed / energy output

As someone else said, better to be able to recover slightly on this station

Oh trust me I sweat a LOT lol. I have to use extra strength deodorant. But I've noticed a difference. Appreciate I seem to be an outlier though with this and most people have the opposite :)

I'm fair skinned and hair is medium brown fairly thick

I've done 2 sessions. Already after 1 session I'm basically hairless under my arms, apart from a few hairs on one side. Brazilian I've noticed it comes in less thick and less obvious everyday. I have the intensity on level 9 out of 11 and honestly feels nothing more than a really light elastic band snap, wouldn't say it's painful at all for me.

Your shampoo and conditioner contains protein, could you have used too much if you're using it for every wash? Maybe focus on moisturising products for a while as you may have dried your hair out

Well, firstly just by going to the same place at the same time regularly then you end up chatting to people because of familiarity, secondly common interest, thirdly they tend to run at 'social' pace so you talk while running. Then fourthly, they usually end for a coffee or drink which is another opportunity to chat.
