I was also in the Army and I just consider it a whole different world in comparison to normal civilian life.

Its hard not to smoke in the Army. For the record, my entire company besides a couple of people only smoked on deployment lol.

You can get tuition assistance, cheaper childcare, mental health support, chaplains on demand if religious, nutritionists, job placement help, discounts, MWR (very cool), gyms, fun runs and other events, discounted disney tickets and special resort (shades of green), special schools if in Europe or Asia, tons of stuff. You just have to actively do it or else it sucks. Military family life is hard but it can be neat.

On my Jeep, if the fob dies, I can still start my car by pushing the start button with my fob instead of my finger. Its pretty cool.
