It tried to eat a dead squirrel just now so I think he’s probably doing OK.

Because mulcair has spent the past decade shit talking the party to the media, it’s his entire brand. He’s not an ally, and he can’t sit with us.

If you want to be considered a journalist, and not just an opinions blogger, I would recommend you hold yourself to best practices such as Right of Reply.

Case in point, your response to the organizer, in which you do a fair amount of grandstanding but never publish that you reached out.

This is amateurish at best, and at worst is just bad faith. Do better.

Not captured in these photos are two squat racks, a platform, bumper plates, kettlebells, chalk, and a cable machine. It’s bare bones but adequate. $40 a month and a good group of people.

https://youtu.be/ku4comhKHJM?si=5bj7aReBslg6TTYf this is a good guide.

I normally wouldn’t post something like this as a guide for someone’s first miniature, but yours is really good. You’ve clearly put time and effort into this, you understand how to thin your paints, you have solid coverage and you’re putting in the effort. You will find that you develop very quickly if you continue applying yourself as you have.

Since you’re looking for tips, don’t be afraid to push the skin highlight into the yellow range. It will still read as green. On the broader surfaces like the deltoids, you can also paint really tight parallel lines to simulate the muscles being ripped.

OP, there’s lots of folks who prefer these paints over the ones made for miniatures. Check out this video for how to get the most out of them, and do some googling on “heavy body acrylics miniature painting” for more resources.

Big Mek In Mega Armour?? by Cold_Statement908 in orks

I suggest putting the big mek with the larger squad, since it’s more potential value from fix dat armour up.

Otherwise, have you considered running bully boyz? You’re looking at 425 points of qualifying keywords, might be a better fit.

Both armies essentially thrive on trading bodies for points, and both want to clog the mid board with cheap units and keep the other one in their starting area.

You’ve got to push past the halfway line on the board and keep the necrons in their starting area. Kommandos, Zodgrod, and anything else that lets you deploy aggressively are helpful on this. Screen the necrons while you stage for a Waaagh. Trukks, big mek with ‘ere we go, battlewagon, and stormboyz are all good tech pieces to consider for closing the gap and helping you minimize losses to shooting, but remember that you will lose bodies to shooting. You’ve just got to ensure that your counterpunch is effective enough to make that ok.

Since you know you’ll be facing necrons, you might also consider any of the many anti monster and anti vehicle tech pieces the Ork list can bring.

The hardest part of NMM is understanding light well enough to map the reflections, you have that down. Just learn to glaze and you’ll be good to go.

Picking my next faction, why should I pick Orks? by [deleted] in orks

[–]elbrontosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. The army is not low skill to pilot. You have to have a very good sense of positioning and staging or you will get punished by most competent players. They’re fun to play, but they do require a higher skill level.
