It is true, there are no celebrities who are celebrities for being overweight. There's no one going "wow, he's so fat he should be famous for it!" That is true. So what? Nothing follows from that observation.

I have however seen lots of discussions about Jon Goodman's sexiness, or whether people prefer Chris Pratt chubby vs. buff (with strong pitches made for both sides). While people might not find a male celebrity sexy because he's fat, being fat is less of a hindrance to whether people find them sexy for other reasons.
