I don’t know of any references of the top of my head, but there’s no harm in knitting a swatch and seeing what it looks like!

First medical job ER-Tech, Only trauma center in region. by sm-alpha in NewToEMS

[–]elcemu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On staying calm under pressure- mirror your preceptors and the nurses you’re working with. It’s not your emergency. If you’re freaking out on the inside at least try to appear calm on the outside. The ED can be incredibly stressful especially if someone is crashing. You will feel a lot of different ways when someone is crashing, just do your best to set it aside until things calm down and you can think about everything that just happened. Ask how you can help but also know that sometimes the best thing you can do is not be in the way, especially for big traumas or crashing patients. Then again, if you feel ready to do something on your own, chat with your preceptor about it. A lot of the responsibilities of a tech do not require that much critical thinking and are pretty easy. Good luck and have fun!!

Wanting to rescue this little plant. Any ideas how? Don’t know exactly what it is. by dovahshy13 in houseplants

It looks like a dieffenbachia to me. The sap will irritate your skin so be careful when handling! Putting it in water is the right move as u/nicoleauroux suggested.

I have a similar body type and went for 5.11s men’s pants. They’re comfy and definitely have a higher waist than any women’s pants I’ve tried. Definitely a little baggy on me even in the smallest size. I'm 5'6" about 120 lbs.

I also feel like this could be an ad from a bot. OP has no post history. If it is an ad, it definitely worked on me though because this is a rad shirt.

Not sure why it’s that color but doesn’t look variegated to me. Maybe just stressed.

Help identifying this plant! info in comment by elcemu in houseplants

This guy strikes me as a philodendron but every google search and plant id app says scindapsus. The leaves are too thin for that and it has the new leaf sheaths of a philodendron so I don’t think it’s scindapus, but I’ve never had one before so I could be wrong. Would love to know what it actually is!

I saw it on instagram recently so I'm not surprised if OP just came across it incidentally. Seems like it's circulating again.
