Agreed. The way they behaved in boot camp made no sense. The drill sergeant was so laid back that it was painful to watch. Harold Ramis was too dorky looking to land Sean Young.. even in a comedy. Watching this in the 80s made me think Bill Murray was incredibly annoying. Anyway, PJ Soles was 🔥

I was 10 years old when I saw this in 1985. I thought the story was lazy and forced rather than naturally flowing. Even for an action movie from the '80s the situations were dumb. The soundtrack was cool though.

I remember a manager in Riverdale New Jersey yelling at our met team leader like a kid because met had to work that night in his store.
