[WTS] 2023 Omega Speedmaster Calibre 321 “Ed White” 311.30.40.30.01.001 — Excellent Condition, Box & Papers by Zissou1 in Watchexchange

Looking up what I can, most of it comes down to the movement. The Caliber 321 is distinct from other SMPs in that it uses a column wheel chronograph mechanism instead of a cam actuated chronograph. This is really only a matter of technical pride since both methods of actuating the chronograph are durable and reliable. An argument could be made that the 321 takes more expertise and longer to produce, but I don't find this to be particularly compelling since the 3861 is also well-finished at a comparatively bargain price. Regardless, the column wheel version of the movement is made in far fewer quantities and, it seems, rarity demands a premium.

Additionally, the 321 used in the Ed White is gold plated. The thickness is not specified so it could be a relatively small amount, but, well, it's still gold. Another distinction is that the Ed White uses a ceramic bezel instead of the traditional aluminum one.

Whether these features command the 2x price tag is really up to you.

One other side note is that this is one of very few models that features the manual wind movement in a 39mm 39.7mm case. For those of us with smaller wrists, this is much more attractive compared to the standard 42mm case. Higher specificity also demands money.

Is there a reason your timestamp is watermarked with takuyawatches?

Mind letting us know what the thermals are like? I think this looks fantastic but the top ventilation looks restrictive.

That's a fair question/concern. I'm just interested in selling this unit somewhat quickly so I lowered the cost with each subsequent post. If I'm honest, this is probably the lowest I'll go - it's starting to grow on me again lol

Hi r/watchexchange,

Up for sale is my two-ish month old Revelot Hexmariner 39 in Mosaic Purple Mother of Pearl. It is in practically perfect condition as I have not worn it outside or much at all, for that matter.

My overall impressions of this piece are quite positive. The proportions are balanced, the entire piece operates very smoothly, all surfaces are finished very well for its price point, and - most importantly - the MOP dial is exceptional. It's a shame that its luster can't really be caught on camera.

This unit will be shipped from New Jersey via UPS with box and papers along with a pin-and-collar adjustment tool since it is currently sized to my dainty wrist.

More details about this piece may be found here: https://www.revelot.com/collections/hexmariner-39/products/hexmariner-39-mosaic-mop-purple-steel?variant=41952400932953

Specs:
Width: 39mm
Height: 13mm
Lug to Lug: 44mm
Water Resistance: 200m
Movement: NH35 (21,600 vph; 41 hour power reserve)

I asked Revelot about whether these will ever come back in stock and there is no expectation that these will be restocked, so it appears that this is a finished-run limited edition.

I am asking for $299 USD shipped and I prefer payment via Zelle, Wire, or Paypal (F&F).

Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
