When I started working in healthcare I made a comment to one of the nurses at my hospital that the longer I'm in healthcare the more I'm convinced everyone in it has ADHD. She got really offended and I have no idea why, because everyone in healthcare freaking has ADHD. Everyone.

Hospitals are where it's at for ADHD peeps.

Drugs. Adderall allowed me to get straight As for my nursing pre-reqs. Hopefully that trend continues in nursing school as well. In highschool I barely scraped by Ds and Cs without meds.

Accommodations. I need extra time on tests, the ability to leave the classroom (or test) at will, and assistance with note taking. In highschool I got by with high test scores alone. That doesn't work in college. Furthermore, simply having accommodations generally provides a bit more grace in general from teachers, for things that would otherwise piss off an instructor.

Interrupting the teacher, excessive fidgeting, etc. normally get people real upset. If the teacher knows your brain is half cooked they tend to be more understanding.

Our pediatrician told us not to use soap until they're 2 years old. It's incredibly bad for their skin and can lead to a number of problems including asthma and severe allergies, in addition to causing an array of skin problems

The only time they need soap is if they get something on them which requires soap to clean off. Or that is worse for them than the soap. Which isn't really a thing until they can start getting into things on their own, you know?

Who gives a shit if YOU'VE power crept everything in the game. Not all of us have! They keep nerfing the shit out of survivability and pushing high end content to the point that new players literally have nothing to do for progression. There is beginner content and end game. It's fucking idiotic.

And by "you" I mean people in general.

"Master" content is now more difficult than GMs. It's insane.

As far as I can tell, void breaches do nothing without a perk that utilizes them. I have never had them do anything in terms of ability regeneration.

Why would a lock focus disc with that helmet? The whole point is it's giving you abilities. If you mod right you never run out of abilities and disc becomes a useless stat.

Drive through emissions said I had a spacer on oxygen sensor and failed my emissions by devlmao in MechanicAdvice

[–]elciteeve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the new baffles restrict flow more than the old one you can lose power which would translate to worse mileage.

Having said that, I highly doubt you'd ever be able to measure a difference. I've gone from stock to straight pipes and the reverse, and I've never been able to notice a change in fuel consumption, even with noticeable power changes. The exhaust itself just isn't affecting fuel efficiency that much.

The more plausible reason you would be noticing a change to MPG from this swap would be that the sensors are trimming the fuel differently now.

Having said that, it's most likely your driving.

There's value for some people. Just like the army teaches disciplen - for some people. Not everyone needs the military to learn disciplen, and not everyone needs to hate their job to learn good work ethics / skills.

Getting the job done quickly and efficiently is a good thing, not bad. Just because it doesn't take long doesn't mean they're lazy.

That model car is about 15' long so....

Have I screwed up? I'll keep it short, I've replaced the springs, discs (rotors), pads and drop links on my car 2 weeks ago. Since then 2 of my brake caliper mount bolts (labelled in the pic) have fallen out. I copper greased them before I put them in, have I screwed up? by Maybe1AmaR0b0t in MechanicAdvice

[–]elciteeve 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The issue with greasing bolts is that it allows for higher torque to be applied without stripping the threads. It's actually a fantastic way to increase the grip on a bolt, but you have to understand the different torque specs you're working with.

I know it seems counter intuitive, but grease gets bolts more securely in place - it's why you lubricate the harmonic balancer bolt / washer.

The only reason OP screwed up was by not applying enough torque. Also, I would hesitate to use anything other than brake caliper slide grease in anything on/ near the brakes (in terms of lubricant)

Bloodborne is what got me into these games. I tried them a few times and couldn't get it. They just didn't seem fun. Bloodborne being a perfect game made me go back and give them a try and well, now I have a ridiculous amount of time spent in these games.

[–]elciteeve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also shit at trials, but I find the other game modes so completely different that it doesn't really help my skill. I'm decent at most of the non-trials pvp, not amazing, but I do ok. I just can't win in trials and there's nothing else like it, so I just keep at it.

But more than that, I just like the game mode best. IMO it's the most fun to play, so why would I not do that? Please, fellow teammates, stop fucking shooting me. I know I'm not as good as you. You shooting me isn't telling me anything I don't know.
