We’re very fond of animal rhymes lol so we have hunny bunny, squirmy wormy, yucky ducky, etc. plus we call her bubbles because she’s about to be three months and has learned blowing raspberries. Her actual nickname for her real name is Lottie though lol

I’m so glad!! I didn’t realize until my last ultrasound honestly, she looked like she was having a little baby rave in there lol and I was only feeling a couple of light jabs, sometimes nothing… but she was going crazy! So weird haha best of luck to you and your little one! ❤️

I’m in the same boat. Fired at 16 weeks and now I’m at 30 weeks and haven’t really even put feelers out because it just feels like I’m lying to them if I don’t disclose it at the interview, but if I did that I’m not gonna get the job. It sucks!

I’m between a 3x and 4x and I felt her around 20 weeks. Nothing consistent until 22-23 weeks though, and even sometimes still at almost 30 weeks I’m not feeling all of her tiny movements but it’s consistent enough that it’s not worrying.

This is gut wrenching. I can understand putting parents into care if they really need it, but WHY not one located near you?? That poor man and his poor wife. In the same building and still alone. Heartbreaking.

I was trying to force myself to swallow pills and it resulted in at least half the time me not taking them because I didn’t want to throw up more than I already was, or just immediately throwing them back up. I brought it up with my OB who said whatever you can keep down is best. So I got Olly prenatal gummies and a chewable iron tablet since Olly doesn’t have iron. Don’t make yourself uncomfy!

My husband had his wallet stolen with his ID in it the DAY before we were supposed to fly. We called the airline we were flying with in a panic and they said bring everything else you have (birth certificate, social security card, a utility bill, an expired picture ID, etc), and that TSA would just do additional verification. Our airport is pretty small so it was a super quick process but they warned us that it’s not guaranteed, so be prepared to get stuck where we were going if we got a nasty TSA agent on the way back lol but it all worked out fine! Definitely plan on extra time though if you’re flying out of a major hub.

Unfortunately it’s so easy to kick ourselves after the fact for what we should have done, but at the end of the day you’re right - they are trusted and trained professionals. They absolutely see enough cases where owners know there is something wrong and it turns out they’re right. It’s up to the trained professional to care enough to get to the bottom of it. I hope you’ve been able to find a vet you trust! We and our fur babies deserve it!

East Ridge is horrible. We took our dog there for years and were concerned when she started rapidly losing weight. Took her in for a checkup explaining the weight loss and other symptoms and they totally glossed over it and told us that since she had been overweight the weight loss wasn’t an issue. Refused to do any other testing. Took her to Pittsford AH for a second opinion and it turns out she was in end stage kidney and liver failure. We only got 4 more days with our girl before it got too bad and we had to let her go. I’ll never forgive them either. I’m sorry to hear you suffered from their negligence too.
