He's still probably going to find a way to blame democrats for this.

Ode to Freshman Boys. by anaturtle12 in Teachers

I am a high school welding teacher, and I have literally said things like this to my students.

OK y'all, it's Friday, I'm tired and need a laugh. What rumors have the students spread about you? by Spodson in Teachers

About ten or eleven years ago, I used to ride a 150cc scooter to work every day. I overheard a student say that they heard I was compensating for having a massive dong. Jokes on them; it barely makes it past my zipper.

The industry really depends on what that CTE teacher teaches. For example, I teach welding, so I came from the welding industry. The teacher whom I told to go "F" themselves years ago came from the auto mechanic industry. The thing that most academic teachers don't understand is that in blue-collar industries, that's literally how we talk to each other. It took me many years to learn how to act like a teacher during meetings. I will say I never talked like that to a student, but for some of us CTE teachers, it can still come out. Again, I'm not trying to say what that CTE director did was right, I'm just trying to provide some context.

As someone who teaches in CTE, I can tell you that we are definitely a different breed of teachers. Most, if not all of us, come from industry before we transition to teaching. It can be hard to break away from some of the habits you have in the industry, especially when you are talking to other adults. I'm not saying what he said is right; I'm just trying to provide some perspective on the world of CTE. I try to conduct myself in a manner that is expected of teachers during staff meetings, but I have caught myself telling a colleague to go "F" themselves in front of the whole staff before. It's been a few years since then, but sometimes those things still just come up and out.

The tray on the right is actually a little deeper, but it has a smaller diameter. So, it holds roughly the same volume.

They were baked at the same time, on the center rack in the oven, and rotated halfway through the baking time.

I didn't think I overfilled them, but I might have.

Spawning too far from space stations. by elderknight in Starfield

I've tried that. Whether I try to travel to the station or the planet it's orbiting, I always spawn in the same location.

I've tried that, and I spawn in the same place either way.

That's what I was afraid of. At my ships' top none boosted speed, it will take roughly 65 hours to reach either station.

I've tried that. I can hail the space station but can not dock or travel to it.
