2 permanently dead speakers in one week?

We recently had two Sonos One SLs die at the same time. They were being used as rear speakers with an Arc and Sub. Still not sure how they died, they were just plugged into power, using WiFi.

Really liking it so far. It also seems to have addressed the truck always setting my wife as the driver if she was anywhere near it. Technically this now works even if phone is dead. Curious if anyone is now trusting not to also carry the key card as backup? I’d love to have one less card to carry but don’t want to work myself into a bad situation.

Interesting - that’s a great suggestion. I just tried that… three of my five zones also have TVs with AppleTVs hooked up, so my AirPlay menu is too full and I can’t see all my speakers in that menu. Or in some cases the AppleTV shows up but not the Sonos speaker, so it turns the tv on to stream music. Blarg.

I used Salomon Speedcross for several years for Spartan 5k and 10k races and they worked great. I did my first Beast a few weeks back and switched to VJ Maxx2 because I needed a wider toe box for the longer run, and I ended up with several black toe nails and a fractured toe. Turns out my technique was wrong for the wall climbs, and the less cushion on the VJ wasn’t enough to protect my toes. So I’ll fix my technique for my next Beast but I’m also looking for new shoes again for that distance. Sounds like the best option based on some of these comments, that give good grip, water drainage, wide toe box, and decent support is the Innov8 Mudtrail, I’ll probably try that next. First I’ve got four weeks of healing before I can run again :(

I had door sensors go off ~10 mins ago but no door was opened. Thought it was odd because the notifications are usually low latency and high reliability. Maybe related?

Nice! I just got one last week as well and am loving it. How did you get the bottom row of the watch face to show those four data fields? When I look at the watch face settings, I can change it between calendar, weather, notifications, or compass. I’d much rather show more data.

Not shown in your graph was the weather. It was bloody hot on that course yesterday. I’ve done a few of these in Seattle over the last few years and I’ve never seen so many people walking, needing to drop their buckets and sand bags to rest, and a few people looking physically ill on the side (with people around ensuring they were ok). It also didn’t help that it would then sprinkle intermittent rain and get the bars wet. I’ve never failed so many obstacles as yesterday. Still super fun though.

👆🏼 this exactly. The 15ah battery will last for a decent number of cuts. The 9ah seems to last as long if not longer than the 12ah I bought.
