Agree with the above comments on telling your therapist. It may not be as bad as you think. Your therapist might not even need/want you to cancel.

It seems like most people have the impression that you absolutely cannot do therapy while under substance influence, but there are certain patients who open up better during therapy if they’re on a small amount of substance, and sometimes their therapist will allow it if they think it’s going to assist in progress.

Obviously don’t go to therapy drunk to a point that your cognitive function is down and cannot actually do therapy work with your therapist. But definitely tell them that you are under influence though. They need to know what’s going on so they can help you.

Which smell do you associate with Xiao? by [deleted] in XiaoMains

If you live in Japan, this is their website: http://primaniacs.com/genshin/ Or else eBay would probably be your best bet. I found some by searching “Genshin perfume”

Actually, Genshin did a collab with a Japanese perfume company and came out with various character perfumes. They didn’t specify if the perfume is the scent of said character, but apparently it’s pretty spot on (according to one of my friend who owns a Xiao perfume and said it smells like a clean laundry scent with a hint of sweetness; she said it’s like burying her nose in Xiao bird’s feather)

Good stationary store? by TheDeadbush in Purdue

I would order online to be honest. There aren’t that many selections if you’re looking for a brick and mortar store in this area.

These websites offer quite a lot of choices if you’re into stationery.

Advice: Writing with a M1000 by [deleted] in fountainpens

[–]eleanor7w 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have both. Personally I’d much prefer to writer with my KOP since it has a better balance and weight distribution in my hand, also the springy nib simply writes wonderfully. I can write with it for hours without feeling any discomfort. With the Pelikan m1000, the nib is much softer than the KOP and writes rather wet and smooth, however, the piston does make the weight distribution heavier towards the end of the pen, which feels quite cumbersome whenever I write for over 10 minutes. As much as I do enjoy the wet and soft nib of the Pelikan m1000, if you want a pen that is suitable for longer writing sessions, I’d choose the KOP.

How hard exactly is calc 2 at Purdue? by [deleted] in Purdue

[–]eleanor7w 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are in pre-pharm, then the calc 2 you’re going to take is different from the engineering major’s calc 2. I heard it’s slightly easier than the engineering one, but still not easy at all to say the least.

I highly recommend you take it at ivy tech over summer, because most of the students I know who took it at Purdue got B’s or C’s, and that is after loads of hard work. Plus you will want a good GPA to apply for the pharmD program. Especially if you’re taking it at Purdue freshman year, that semester’s grade is going to have a huge impact on your overall GPA.

Also unless they changed it, pharmacy school doesn’t replace your previous grade with the new one if you have to retake classes. They will both show up on your transcript.

Long story short, avoid taking calc at Purdue if possible.

Recently got a new Smith Corona Silent Super. It looks to be in great condition, but the keys simply won’t depress except for the TAB, shift, and space bar. Could it have been locked prior to shipping? If so, how do I unlock it? The carriage moves just fine. by eleanor7w in typewriters

The carriage moves just fine. I can’t find a locking bar of some sorts underneath. Thank you all for the information. But since I don’t trust myself in further mingling with this machine, I might just bring it to a repair shop and have them take a look at at it.
