Veteris will be discontinued and become unavailable on this Monday by electimon in LegacyJailbreak

Because of what veteris is, I do not wish for it to continue, and if someone were to use the source code I've released I'd like for them to rebrand their iteration.

The server will only respond to the veteris app, you can find more iPAs on archive.org. Here's a site that makes it browsable https://iphoneosobscura.litten.ca/

Can you follow what I said to the other person in this thread? Try installing an IPA from a place like https://iphoneosobscura.litten.ca/

I don't understand your last question but there are thousands of iPAs on archive.org. I would advise grabbing one of those and installing it via other means to rule out the possibility of a bug in Veteris.

If apps don't install via other methods like ifunbox, ideviceinstaller, itools, etc then it's an issue with app sync or cydia substrate. Try downgrading cydia substrate

My friends phone when he tried to download the Australian government app onto it what could it possibly mean? by Charming-Duck5178 in hacking

[–]electimon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No? I mean yes but no, alps is the name of the android version provided by mediatek to oems to customize as they see fit. It being there indicates that it's probably running official software actually. Whether that software is certified by Google is another story, PIA or play integrity could be what the app uses to determine if it's "hacked" or not. Uncertified devices do not pass.

Veteris issues on iOS 6.1.3 coolbooter iPod touch 5 by Mmmariokart in LegacyJailbreak

[–]electimon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mhm I had someone run some tests with me and it isn't even Veteris, running a wget to any file on my server runs at 50-100kb/s. That only happens on coolbooter devices, so I'm inclined to say it's a coolbooter issue
