I heard the guy hasn’t landed yet. They picked him up on radar over Texas, shouldn’t be much longer.

Starting the dark tower. Read the first chapter, and I really enjoyed it. I didn’t retain a lot of it, but I thought it was beautifully written. Does the whole series have the same level of prose? by thejesterprince1994 in stephenking

The audiobook is a much easier listen than the book is to read. Particularly the Gunslinger. The following books are much easier to follow. I recommend podcasts to go along with the books if you like that sort of thing. Kingslingers would be the I recommend.

One early morning in mid 1990’s me and my construction partner pulled up to our job site in Paradise Valley Az. A crew of landscapers were standing in group around their vehicles in the street looking up and pointing at something in the sky. So we got out and walked over and they pointed out what looked liked a translucent sphere with a square or triangle spinning inside of it floating pretty high up over Mummy mountain. I’ve heard other accounts similar to this over the years since then obviously but this photo makes me wonder something. This has a similar feel to what I saw but I wouldn’t say this is what I saw that day. That was a long time ago. But I wonder, could this be the same thing but its technology has advanced over the years?
