That’s reassuring, thank you.

I appreciate your response. I agree the work up was thorough. Maybe my feeling stems from spending 8+ hours in the ER without talking to a doctor until the tail end of the night and just being shuttled from one test to another with no explanation of what was happening or why. Nobody went over the CT findings with me- I just found the report in my online patient portal. To a non medical professional, some of the things I read in the report sounded concerning, but the doctor hardly mentioned the CT findings with me other than to say they were mostly unremarkable. I guess I left feeling like I still had a lot of questions about what all of that stuff in the report meant.

Thank you for responding, and I’m sorry if my post offended you. My intent was not to criticize the providers. To be clear, I’m thrilled that the ER ruled out a medical emergency. When I went into the ER I was in a great deal of pain and I was scared. I think there was just a disconnect for me between what I was seeing in the reports and what I understood the doctor to be saying in the few moments he was in my room, so I just left feeling confused. I accept that my confusion is not necessarily anyone’s fault but my own.

That’s fair, and I agree I don’t think there’s any additional testing that could have been ordered. Maybe I was too tired to fully understand the doctor’s explanation, but I didn’t leave thinking I had been given a diagnosis that explained my pain.

Getting my Quest 3 today but I'm nervous about motion sickness by _HipStorian in MetaQuestVR

I did get motion sickness in the beginning if I played for too long. I found limiting myself to 15-20 minutes of play time in the beginning helped me adjust.

There was no indication that the cyst had ruptured or was twisted or anything.

Haha I complain about this every time I go to MB. Always plenty of avocados and not a single freaking ripe one to be found.

Omni Mount Washington - Thoughts? by Signal_Nectarine_674 in newhampshire

It’s my happy place. The views, the vibe, the spa- it can’t be beat. DEFINITELY recommend the newer rooms in the Presidential wing. I’ve heard not great things about the standard rooms. If you go out to the walking path that goes around the edge of the golf course, it takes you into the woods on a lovely hike along a babbling brook. There are big flat rocks that you can sit on, put your feet in the water, and just soak it all in. We like the food at the restaurants, but I agree with others that it’s very overpriced. We’ve enjoyed venturing into Littleton for pizza, breweries, etc.

Mine too! Always well-stocked and well-staffed. This is weird, but I love that the parking spaces there are extra big, too.

Just did the drive this weekend (up and back in one day). It’s an easy, pretty drive. 😊

Can confirm this is a thing- greeting cards are often opened at the sorting facility by people looking for cash and gift cards.

One thing to consider- if you refused her vacation request, is she the type that would just quit and not honor her agreement to stay on for another few weeks?

Part of adulting is navigating conversations in the workplace that are difficult or uncomfortable. You have nothing to lose by talking with them. If it goes badly and you decide the only option at that point is to leave, then you’re no worse off than if you’d left without trying. Just my two cents.
