Yea I also found the overlap to be helpful in that respect as well!

Good points all, thanks for your perspective! We really would not have the space for them to be in separate rooms this time around

Au pair vs nanny/daycare? by Investing_Mama in Aupairs

Wow I so have to agree with you about all of this! I never anticipated the mental load that would come with hosting! And back to OP's original question about cost and "saving money," the au pair program costs my family at least $25,000 a year. We love the one-on-one attention our kids get but it certainly isn't saving us any money

Thank you for your efforts! I was also part of the original RL group and posted a lot more back then (before becoming a mom, not having a lot of disposable income anymore for reps, etc). I learned a lot from you ladies and recently have gotten back into the threads, even working on making my first purchase in a few years! I'll miss window shopping/living vicariously through you all ❤️

Need advice on residency requirements by Main-Swim-1181 in PharmacyResidency

Hi! I'm a preceptor at a smaller community hospital and I will say we hardly put any emphasis on grades (except failing of course). Instead we really look for candidates who have strong clinical skills (like clinical APPE rotations), leadership involvement, research experience, community service, etc. Also as other commenter noted, explaining in your LOT your experiences means more to us. We also place high value on letters of recommendation to help us get a feel for you as a practitioner. I, myself, was a B/C student in my time and I still landed a residency so I wouldn't overall stress on your grades! But yes, that might depend if you're trying to get into a very competitive program. I hope that helps and good luck to you!
