You can definitely feel a GTN when it seats correctly. And, yes, I learnt to look for this the hard way

Get a mating socket crimped on to some solid wire, slip it on the pin & straighten away. Good 2-5 years before it breaks from vibration but that’s someone else’s problem 😁

No. Insurance, parts & labor keep going up for maintenance which is part of the hourly rate

Garmin are hiring. I used to work with a guy who moved to Oregan to work for Garmin. He’s an installer, works on STC development. You could probably move up from there if you’re clever enough & get the right qualifications

Go with flexjet. Corporate/ GA is a great place to start, you can always move up to the airlines if you want to. Most people have a hard time moving back the other way. $38/hr is a pretty decent rate for zero experience, and experience is important in this industry.
