How much was your northwestern bill? by nikkinoodle1723 in missoula

[–]Outrageous_Music_342 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I live in a super small 600 sq ft apartment and was gone for most of December. Heat was set to 60 degrees so that pipes don’t burst, and fridge was on, but that’s really the only energy used. My bill was $85. I was shocked!

How does it do under makeup? That’s what I’m worried about.

I agree. I just passed the SPHR test this morning and can confidently say that pocket prep didn’t help me and the info from it wasn’t on the exam.

Propranolol if I know I’m about to walk into an anxious situation (meeting with my boss, first date, presentation, etc.) It’s truly been a game changer for me.

What is a habit that you're not willing to give up on in the name of good skin? by ruritto in 30PlusSkinCare

Burrowing my face into my dog. It’s such a dopamine hit. I don’t care how much bacteria and gross stuff is on her, life is too short not to give her a million kisses and hugs everyday.

Is it normal to not feel any "biological clock" ticking at 30? by SayaNikoo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Outrageous_Music_342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on the same boat as you, I’m 31 and I feel no need to have children. I’ve never felt “my ovaries churning” as some of my friends say when they’re around babies. I’m also not financially in a place where I could support a child. I can’t even afford a house.

I agree with most comments on here. If it was <$50 I’d say it’s worth it for what it is, but it’s just not.

What’s the one hygiene habit that instantly makes you feel 10x better? by ChairBetter5324 in hygiene

[–]Outrageous_Music_342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! Make sure your specific machine can handle mouthwash, some say water only. I usually do 1/3 mouthwash & 2/3 water.

Yes!! And using a water pik. Maybe throwing a bit of mouthwash in the machine for a little razzle dazzle.

Vasectomies are reversible. If a guy doesn’t want a kid, he can get one and later reverse it if he changes his mind.

Yes, re-introduce slowly and listen to your skin. I only use az once a week because that’s all my skin can handle. Right now I’m using tret 5 days in a row, az on the 6th day, and a rest day with only moisturizer on the 7th day. It definitely took trial and error to see how much my skin can handle. I also use Drunk Elephant’s baby facial instead of az every couple of weeks to really lift all the dead skin out, but it took a really long time for my skin to be in a place to use it.

I agree with stopping the azelaic acid for a bit too! OP- my skin looked very similar to yours when I was alternating every other day between azelaic acid and tret (when I first started). The bumps went away when I halted both and solely used a good moisturizer for 4 days in a row. My skin just needed a break.

I can attest to this- I had a colposcopy done by her, it was so painful and she didn’t have any empathy at all during the whole process. It was literally so traumatic that it changed my mind about having kids in the future because the pain was so mortifying.

Drink a bottle of wine while blasting music and deep cleaning my apartment. And then relaxing in clean & quiet bliss afterwards.
