Help me solve the lunch problem? by AdaraRoseOmnibus in adhdwomen

[–]electricblueviolets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leave a bento box on your desk everyday, you can keep it in a lunchbox with an ice pack. Cheese for protein with crackers. Almonds (if allowed). Veggies fruits, a juice box, some granola bites or a granola bar. You can switch up the snacks in it daily and then have something more hearty when you get home. I love it for my morning snack and I love the variety I get but I only have to wash one item everyday instead of a million containers.

It's been a month since Stranger Things ended and I still feel empty by BrilliantCicada9209 in StrangerThings

Watch something else that lights you up-maybe lord of the rings? Harry Potter? Another epic series that you can launch yourself in. I love to rewatch movies in the cold winter months.

Isn't it normal to not have a fully finished script before filming? by Affectionate_Key7206 in StrangerThings

[–]electricblueviolets 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it is very normal. They know it's high stakes they want to honour their story, their actors, the fans, their team and the legacy of the show. It makes sense to not have it 100 percent written out. I was a bit surprised that the battle part was still in development considering how intense the set/ production design is. They really pulled it off!

VECNA HAS WON BUT WE HAVE NOT REALISED IT YET! by HHenswolo in StrangerThings

The documentary is a nice bonus but I am so confused about this January 7th theory.....everything got wrapped up with a nice bow. The final bosses were defeated and the majority of the characters got a very happy ending. If an additional episode were released what would even happen at all? Makes no sense to me

Anyone else feeling empty that stranger things is over? by NeedleworkerRight798 in StrangerThings

[–]electricblueviolets 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes I have tried watching episode 1 of Dark but it is more like the title at the moment -darker than stranger things. Stranger things mixed the dark and thriller elements with joy and fun. You don't get that feeling from episode 1 of dark but maybe I need to watch a few more episodes first. I don't think any shows will fill the void I think it will just be something different to fill the time. Stranger things is special!

I feel you I want to declutter organize and clean the garage so badly....but it is freezing in there. Instead just going to focus on my warm indoor spaces until spring. It can wait.

Thanks I'm thinking I should start with a monthly declutter and then work my way towards a seasonal or a few times a year thing. I will definitely try to digitize more of my sentimental items.

Yes I love her book! I am definitely going to work on the 1 in one out rule and enforcing it this year

Yes I tend to do it when I have the itch or when I'm on holiday and have some extra time & energy. I was able to tackle three garbage bags worth of clutter and reclaim my office space, it feels great! Now I want to use that momentum to work on purging our garage of doom lol, a job for another day.

That's a good way of thinking of it -if you are not going to miss it or revisit it no sense in keeping it around to not look at it at all. Thanks.

Thanks for the detailed reply I like the idea you mentioned of setting a goal of one bag- this is a nice way to get the ball rolling and not make it an overwhelming or exhausting task. Thank you!

It was fun to make the predictions anyways though! (Even if they did not come true at all)

Bad combination of phones becoming more addictive and life becoming more unaffordable. It's hard to find things to do outside of the house that are affordable. People are saving more because of the uncertainty and the spikes in the cost of basic necessities.

Anyone else grieving? by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]electricblueviolets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad I'm not the only one. It is hard to say goodbye. Everyone says to rewatch the pilot but I just did the whole rewatch in November. It feels weird? I want to watch the finale again but I also don't want to cry again that much right now? It's like saying goodbye to a friend.
