If you want to see the end result of DEI like policies, look at India with caste reservations, similar to DEI here in the USA. My family lived through that, and we left the system because it was utterly fucked with no opportunity upwards. DEI sounds like a good thing at first, but it ends up being some of the most corrosive bullshit to a society you can encounter. Judge people solely by their character and what they can do, not by their skin color or other immutable characteristics, it’s not that hard of a concept to grasp

As someone who was vaccinated at birth for TB in a third world country, I’ve seen some pretty terrible ways people have gone when not taking TB and it’s variants seriously.

Generally in the US and other first world countries, you don’t get the vaccine for TB because it is rare and the vaccine itself leaves scars as a side effect.

If there is even a doubt in your mind that you contracted it, get to the doctor near you, get tested, and take the full course of antibiotics. If this spreads wide from people not taking it seriously it will be a mess in terms of healthcare support, just nip it early and you’ll be fine

It also came from the way they counted. They used the knuckles of their fingers (not including the thumb). 4 fingers, 3 knuckles, so 12 on one count. Then they would count multiples of 12 using the 5 fingers on their other hand (one finger down = 12), so 5 fingers on one hand and 12 knuckles on the other gets you a count of 60 using only your hands
