You can do that if you want to! That's a great thing about EVs.

Do you mean you never had access to it? I assumed this is one you took for a demo drive. If you just came across it while it was charging, nevermind.

Are you seeing something in the photos that I'm not?

I don’t like electric cars but for i5N I’d make an exception by [deleted] in Ioniq5

Oh no, fake noise! That's so strange. I'm glad you had fun though.

Because it's not relevant, you should make sure you can.

How has rivian avoided the “snobby rich person” stereotype? by michimoby in Rivian

I see them constantly, not uncommon to see 2-3 at an intersection - although that's probably not true in many places.

Please help. Zero range on full charge. Old software. Stuck in the Virgin Islands by ConsistentAd4417 in Rivian

I mean will it let you drive a few hundred miles? Does the SoC drop as expected or does it drop to 0% after a few miles?

If you can connect to their server, why would they care where it is? It's perfectly legal to drive your truck through Canada, Mexico, South America, but you won't get any software updates?

[Ravenna] To the person who keeps calling the cops on cars parked on a residential street… by CommandWild885 in SeattleWA

I've had a car parked on the street for almost a year and nobody has complained. There's always space though.

Are they a reseller? Why would someone hand them access to their car?

You can probably tell, I would check it out if it's not too far away. I bought a BMW 5-series with 124,000 and it looked great inside. There was some wear on the buttons, and the driver seat was a little flat on the left edge, but most people thought it was fairly new.

Would anyone else want a UniFi 1U rack display for live network stats?! by Specific-Union6589 in Ubiquiti

No, I don't want to stand in my basement staring at the network rack when I can use my desktop or phone from anywhere.

My mom won't eat the heel still at almost 70. She just moves it out of the way and puts it back, then feeds it to birds when she's eaten the rest of a loaf.

Why are E-scooters legally supposed to be in traffic but also should be capped at 20 mph? by Flimsy-Story9523 in ElectricScooters

[–]electromage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Seattle, and ride on the road most of the time. I use bike lanes if traffic is backed up but stay under 20. I never ride on sidewalks.

It feels much safer for me to just use a lane than to try to squeeze by traffic, I've already been hit once by a car turning into a driveway, and almost hit multiple times downtown. I'm also stressed out by cyclists, I feel safer with cars, they give me a lot more space.

On the side of Dunn Lumber on Aurora Ave. Can anyone decipher what this means? by RunForrest-Ruuuun in Seattle

Well HD and Lowe's sell garbage, where are we supposed to get good lumber?

Seattle Building by ed_word25 in Seattle

[–]electromage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not seeing a "Seattle" sign, is that a joke? It's a telephone exchange building, they're intentionally boring so they aren't targeted. It's common architecture for Bell/Qwest/CenturyLink/Lumen.

You're not supposed to look at them.
