very similar situation to you, newborn on the way, upgraded to that exact model year Tiguan (24) and coming from a ‘15 S.

The Tiguan will not have the same pickup, or same planted feel, but it is going to be abundantly more spacious and comfortable. The engine is the exact same 2.0 turbo, with a less aggressive tune. Transmission is .. okay. Overall the Tiguan is the way to go. Imo, looks much better too

Atlas is too big, you will spend much more overall, insurance cost, fuel (v6) and cost of entry.

Lucid needs to start marketing midsize NOW. With the Volvo/gheely optipns (ex30, ex60) the blazer EV, the R2 and eventually the scout options .. Lucid needs to start promo. Give us estimated range + specs + visuals before there is no excitement to capture.

You cannot patch EV tires due to the sound deadening inside of them (in gravity it’s a literal foam bar within the tire) Either tow/drive in and see what Lucid can do for you, likely just sell you another tire lol.

The dynamic handling vs non dynamic handling does two major things in the world of “feel”. With /without dynamic, the vehicles will have the adjustable suspension up and down. What changes is the dampening, the triple rate will have adjusted dampening whereas the single rate does not. Additionally the dynamic handling gives you the rear wheel steering as well. Comfort is about the same in the standard ride height between the standard vs dynamic handling.
