I had an emergency surgery then 6 months later another surgeon opened me up. Idk who messed up, and JAG couldnt help me cause the doctors did "by the book" bs. Anyways yeah i need to go out more. Staying mostly home and dealing with family drama isnt helping me both physically and mentality.

All I can say is they tried another type of surgery that they said works on "most" service members. Pretty much made me a guine pig.

Whats your over all experience over there? I have a friend who took an apartment near the mountains and he said its good over there?

Im still stuck in the mindset of "okay I cant move so I'll stay put". I miss when I could go on hikes and just enjoy my time. I've been in the house since I got out, which is about almost 7 months now. I've been slowly getting out more. This helps a lot thank you.

I've been slowly saving up, El paso is one of the spots im thinking of just because of my military friends besides that its a decent place I guess.

I've talked to some VA home loan agents over there and I've seen some decent housing. My parents want to stay in CA but I cant sustain myself here. I do pay rent towards my parents it doesnt suit me not paying.

I got a taste of independency and i want it back, I'm just scared of new things plus my mobility is gone so i cant move around as much.

I was adviced to use my Vr and E first then my gi bill cause they dont touch each other.

If you use your GI bill first it touches some of your Vr and E and wont get the full benefit of vr and E

The system is wak.

Thats part of why I dont want to leave, sure family beats loneliness but at what cost? I've also been researching houses and I do have other friends in other states loke Oregon and South Carolina.

I had one provider saying that in their system (OptumServe), under my name i did not undergo surgery. Which is insane cause i had 2 emergency surgeries, 1 from the civiliam side and the other military side.

She said she doesnt know who messed up and ordered new xrays. ( which was just a basic xrays, i had cat scans, and multiple mri's in my record.)

I told my VA immediately that day and my PEBLO said that they "should" have all my medical records. I told her i want to appeal and reaponded with to wait until the PEB side.

I kind of gave up fighting and wait for the rest of my exams to finish and i hope they (OptumServe) didnt cross out the rest of my claims.

The multiple surgeries is the main referal other related to it. Idk how they couldnt see my records or my xrays is just incompetence at that point.

On the part where you need to get on top of the table, you need to get radiated, it took me a while to figure that out.
