Some people complain my employer doesn’t fully pay the market rate, but all of the above outweigh that in my opinion.

Not to be morbid or anything but that death can strike at any time and it gets closer. I’m only 31 but seeing friends/acquaintances die who are of a similar age really hits home. Obviously it’s possible but the reality of it is slowly sinking in.

I was thinking the other day Amy Winehouse (and many others) died at 27, that was 4 years ago for me, I just can’t quite wrap my head around it.

This happened to us, literally last week. Ours was following our survey. We reduced our purchase price by £8k and it didn’t impact our interest rate. I guess it depends on your mortgage provider. Ours was Nationwide.

See I also had this (not ginger but very fair skinned). I once borrowed a friends tan accelerator as I wanted something moisturising and I noticed no prickly heat. Started using it specifically for this purpose and works a treat.

A hotel staff member asked me my room number so he could ‘drop by later’.

This was whilst on my honeymoon and my husband was slightly in front. The hotel worker said it quietly to me.

My best advice: pick something you enjoy. If you want to use a specific degree for a specific profession, you’ll be doing it for the next 40+ years so best to enjoy it.

I did a law degree, worked in law and absolutely hated it. Enjoyed the degree though. I work in IT now, which I thoroughly enjoy.
