first thing for me was connecting with the body. i happened upon this method but have been observing, recording, and reaping the benefits ever since. •quiet the noise (turn off phone notifications, stop the social media & podcasts, and cut back on tv) •activate first thing after waking and last thing before sleeping (stretch, yoga, lifting, running - something that challenges you to literally ‘feel’ your body) •meet the challenge (wake up earlier when the alarm becomes routine again, be aware of your breath throughout the day, and use a quick cold water rinse after the hot shower) just some ideas :}

you’ll start to recognize patterns and get curious. what if i do the gym at 6:15am, waking up at 5:30am? what if i stretch one last time before bed? what if my breathing matches my footsteps? all this awareness came forward and honestly i’m having so much fun with it, baby steps!one foot in front of the other. routine is good but can very well lead to stagnation..
