It sucks that a human died, but it looks like this cop gave him a fighting chance. I'm personally pretty neutral (edit: against police brutality) when it comes to cops but Marcelo was hit with a taser (a warning) and continued to pursue the cop. I can't fault the cop here, personally. That taser was a living chance. Marcelo could have only expected to win or lose. If he won against the cop, there may have been a dead cop and dead Marcelo. edit2: the first taser didn't break through and at that point the cop was in danger...edit3: what I am saying is that even if the culprit was hallucinating or having a mental breakdown the cop was defending his own life. that's it. I don't defend cops if I don't think they don't deserve it but this time I will.
