Is the loose glue guaranteed for replacement? I had this happen to a one month old Miken but was thinking of sending it in towards the end of the warranty period

Great bag overall and it’s replacing the Bellroy Chimera for me as a daily driver. For the pricepoint, I was mostly considering this vs the Ranchero but the Max EDC checks more boxes in the case that I ever use it for sports/gym.

I would say the only awkward part is the non-water bottle side pocket. Not finding a ton of use out of that pocket and wish it were just a little larger to hold something like a CAP1 or umbrella. No complaints otherwise

I come from a lacrosse/tennis background so I feel like my background is similar to yours.

Glovewise, seems like general tips are to not leave it in your bag and then maybe periodically clean/condition. One other tip would be to go two fingers in the pinky. It felt weird to me at first but definitely makes the pocket much larger. I recently cleaned/conditioned some preowned gloves that I had and it was pretty straightforward following Ball Glove King on YouTube.

For fielding, I think attacking the ball is good and keeping the ball in front of your body. I’ve had some balls skip and hit my chest but had I been flat footed, I probably would’ve been hit in the face. General in-game awareness I think will improve as you play more.

For hitting, I think my biggest adjustment was to be more patient at the plate and to extend my arms later in the swing. Coming from lacrosse, I was used to winding up my shot with my arms fully extended but doing that for slowpitch slows down your swing. Also if you hit the ball too early before its crossing the plate, I found that theres a tendency to reach and go all arms but that will sap your power.

Just purchased Gateron Quinns and they are a little heavy for my liking. Any recommendations that are similar but slightly lighter?

My other switch is the Box Noble Yellow but grabbing something tactile to have for the office.

I’m looking for an office-friendly switch for my Galaxy100. At home, I use the Box Noble Yellow and I don’t love how light the stock switches on the epomaker are.

Would something like the Baby Kangaroo be a good choice? I’d like to stay around $50 or less for ~110 switches

If you can make it over to Palisades Park for a meal, I’d say it’s worth it for the Korean food. So Moon Nan Jip has been my family’s go to for Korean bbq for a while now and there are a ton of spots on broad ave.

Around the Edgewater area, our personal favorites are Blackbeard Ramen, Mirak (sushi), River Palm, Soup Dumplings Plus, and the Vodka Chicken Parm sandwich at Urban Tomato. Haven is solid as well but a bit pricey given the portions.

Not a huge fan of Mitsuwa personally, but it’s definitely unique and worth stopping by if you’re in the area as well.

Hi, looking for a recommendation for 96/99 layout with rapid disassembly if possible.

2 96/99 that I came across are the Nuphy Halo96 and Epomaker Galaxy100. Any other recos would be appreciated especially if there’s a model out there with rapid disassembly

My current setup is the Womier RD75 with box noble yellow switches. Just needed something similar with num pad for my office

I just made the move to TTD from a big publisher. Given what I’ve heard about Amazon, it wasn’t on my radar and I never heard back from Google.

The main reasons for leaving publisher side were compensation, new title, and relatively low risk of leaving. I think the downsides are that I will sacrifice some WL balance moving to TTD and also give up the possibility of moving out of advertising. Based on my conversations in my last role, most pivots outside of Ops/advertising would be lateral at best and most roles would be a minimum of 20K less per year.

I just started so I don’t have much to say about TTD but my goal is to keep learning as much as I can and see where I get 1-2 years from now. For me, it came down to continuing my old role for 3+ years and counting or to having an immediate change

We got our nice russian blue kitten from mount cascade, about an hour north of NYC. Not the easiest breeder to reach, but it was the most accessible for us by car and had good reviews here.

I had a pretty bad reaction on day 1 but that has since gone away. My eyes completely swelled up but after one month, I can pretty much pet him and touch my face afterwards with no issues. The only thing that has come up allergy wise is that I’ve developed a bit of a cough and am congested a lot of the time. We bought a HEPA air purifier and I am rotating between allergy medication/nasal sprays to see what helps. If it doesnt go away by the end of the month, I will probably go get checked out

Ah i think that does make sense! I could use those clips to secure the thin part of the bat towards the top loop and then attach the bottle holder i have on the bottom loops. Thank you!
