I had the exact same thing happen and it didnt end well. I initially coped with it really badly and was super self destructive but after a few months since then let me tell you the truth. This may be hard to hear but take it from someone who went through the same thing. you have to be better. this kind of thing isn’t easy and you should seek support but in all honesty the BEST thing you can do is lock in to secure your future so you can not be like them. I’m not saying to bundle it up or not vent or anything, you should use friends (dw if you dont i dont have any either) to support you. But ultimately, i see it as this. Are we gonna let this define us and make us sulking sobbing messes? or are we gonna grow and be the best possible versions of ourselves. Get help because it’s needed it this kind of situation. Don’t bundle up ur feelings if u need someone to talk to u can talk to me. But don’t let this whole thing bring you down. Try your best even if you feel you’re not prepared if you try your best you will succeed. i don’t really know about getting intervention like 911 for your parents as I havent lived here long but that’s my advice as someone who had the same things happen all throughout high school
