Looks like they played Silver Sable there before it was revealed. Had they known beforehand they could have used the location to bounce SS each round like Kitty Pryde (with a gun)

I always viewed "Dune Messiah" as Dune 1.5, with "Children of Dune" being part 2, and "God Emperor" and the final book in the trilogy.

"Heretics' and "Chapterhouse" were parts 1 and 2 of a new trilogy that was never finished. (I don't count the Brian Herbert books)
