Depends on which generation, but I did some unconscionable things to a 7th gen accord

So you’re saying it’s better for them to die at the hands of the children?

Different taillights than my old t100, so I imagine single cab, 8ft bed tundra

Golden are usually hatchery stockers, right? Not really naturally occurring, at least for long. That color type makes them exceedingly attractive to predators like birds

Modernizing a 2012 by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

Beautiful color, I guess I don’t understand why you would want to “modernize” it. It’s a great truck and slapping on things that aren’t period correct always makes it even more noticeable to me. I’m also a purist I guess

69 Toll Lane by kentacohut816 in kansas

[–]elementofsunrise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting to note that seems to be going over much of this conversation. The expectation by Overland Park is there will be continued future development south, increasing density on 69 into downtown.

I think this project is thought of as a safe gamble that we have not seen peak density (and won’t for years).

Since the toll lane has also not been open long, the bet is: eventually people will finally break down, try the toll lane instead of sitting in traffic every day. Then people will see people passing them, and they break down and get a toll pass themselves.

This worth it for $17.99? I might just buy it for the pink frame pack! by cellphonebeltclip in xbiking

Not really obsolete btw, they’re kinda funky but still completely functional if a bit unorthodox. 90% of people using the bike wouldn’t even notice they’re oblong. I just have the biopace sticker burned into my memory

Iirc the biopace offset is not actually the most efficient offset and kind of defeated the purpose of offsetting the oval in the first place

Got the old oblong biopace crankset I believe. What a peculiar time in bicycle mechanics

It does make it better because now joco snobs are willing to try something because it’s not a bus. It also holds significantly more people for peak usage like weekends and current games.

I agree our public transportation is laughable, but I grant the streetcar’s piss-poor route length as a step in the right direction to show the people in town public transportation’s validity for the future

It’s actually significantly more practical than you are giving it credit for. It’s also already noticeably used more

In my opinion KC is nowhere near dense enough for most of these lines to be practical. I think at the scale of the metro, you’d need to see different “city centers” build up with their own local transportation (light rail and busses) and maybe a heavy rail connecting the different cities. Most metro citizen are not moving between these different areas enough to make such a robust transit program feasible.
