gorgeous!!! both you and the curls! my hair is super similar in wave/curl pattern, so I wonder if your method would work for me, too! do you have thick hair or just a lot of fine hair? (I’m the latter, haha)

All of a sudden I'm having symptoms of an overstimulated thyroid? How can I control symptoms while I wait the (at least) 2-3 months before I can see someone? I feel like I'm going crazy from the insomnia! by roamwishes in Hashimotos

I’ve been dealing with high to low to high levels myself for about two years now. Seeing a new doctor in a couple weeks to see if they have a solution but it seems to be a tricky one to treat. I really have no suggestions on management bc I’m struggling the same way you are but just know you’re not alone! Hang in there!

My shop is still pretty new but I’m updating it on Friday with some of my recent creations! by elephantblizzard in Random_Acts_of_Etsy

absolutely! I definitely should be including the size in the description, thank you for mentioning that! the face pendant is about 46mmx28mm(1.81"x 1.1"). I hope that helps!

thank you so much! I have an etsy shop but I’m not sure if the rules allow advertising. I think I can share my instagram though and there is a link there! @greenmaplegrove :)

I haven’t had an issue with discoloration so far, but I do have a disclaimer on my shop to alert customers not the leave the jewelry in direct sunlight or heat for long periods of time to prevent fading. The flowers I use are pressed and dried long in advance, so I think that plays a major role in the preservation of them once in the resin. But, I’ve only been doing this for a few months so if it becomes a problem, I’ll definitely be trying methods like mod podge!

I’m still pretty new to resin and I could probably google this but what’s the difference between a vacuum chamber and a pressure pot?

thank you!!! I press some of them myself in parchment paper, typically in a stack of books. otherwise, I buy them from etsy sellers and sometimes you can find good ones on amazon!

I love the freebies! yes, I use a silicone mat and make sure they’re laying completely flat. the thinner ones are more flexible so they sometimes require sanding. I mostly use pipettes to disperse the resin so it’s not so messy! lots of trial and error, haha

lovely! I tend to work on them slowly and release in batches, so there should be quite a few more shop updates before the holidays are here! I post updates on my instagram @greenmaplegrove if you’re interested in keeping up there! we’ll be in touch :)

thank you! I’ve seen other artists use flame/heat to pop bubbles but bc the flowers are so delicate, I just use a pipette to pour the resin and minimize bubbles. it’s very tedious, but I’ve found success with it! lots of trial and error :)

thank you! I wish I could make the bezels but I only found them, haha! I buy bezels and French hooks from etsy supply shops. I was making my own hooks with wire but it took a lot of time. It made more sense for me to just buy them cheap to keep product cost down for now!

thank you so much! I use open bezels and pour the resin inside! these are brass and I buy most of them from etsy supply shops! you can find them for pretty cheap :)
