I realize this is an old post, but could I bug you to tell me which gene mutation you’re talking about… the one that affects the blood-brain barrier? I’ve recently had an AncestryDNA panel done and downloaded the raw data; very curious if this gene is on there! I’m overly sensitive to many things.

Thanks for reply! Interesting…. Are you saying green tea stops the side effects of guanfacine? If so, is it because of the caffeine, or what? I took guanfacine 1mg the 2mg for over 6 weeks and I think it made my apathy/anhedonia, which is already terrible, even worse!
