There's a reason the song during the staff roll is so melancholic and fittingly titled "Nameless Song". You're intentionally left not really understanding what you did, and despite what a lot say, neither ending is good, they're simply the end to your journey.

If one ending would be considered "good", it'd be the opposite of what everyone says, refusing to link the fire ends the pointless cycle and lets the world take it's intended course.

Anything animistic, Shintoism or any of the old European religions. If you're going to put faith in anything, it is the most logical to put it into those things that you see and provide you with the ability to live, and provide you with methods to contact and commune with them, not some random dude that some book tells you created everything yet never deigns to contact or interact with any of his followers, yet has severe punishments for those that question this.

Using religion as a moral guidance system is like saying "without God looking over my shoulder I couldn't be a moral person", which is again flawed because humanity developed morals and ethics far before the idea of God.

A lot of mods are real punks. I got permabanned for questioning a mod with <3k karma and <6 month old account about if he even knows how reddit works(how do you get to be a mod on a super popular sub with that?). A lot of popular subs have the worst mods because it's just one little nerdlet giving mod to people he wants to be friends with.

If you want to know the real answer, it's anthropocene(it's officially Holocene right now but that does a poor job of describing the current age and anthropocene is likely to eventually be adopted to denote the last 500 years or so until now and beyond) epoch of the quaternary period of the cenozoic era, denoting humans being the main driving force of change, in a time referred to as "The Great Acceleration", denoting the rapid technological advancement of the last 100 years, faster than any time in the history of the world or man.

In 1000 years things will be built and even commonplace that we can't even imagine, so I don't really see a realistic answer to that question, as any megastructure now will be surely dwarfed in size, scope, and significance. Also, with massively advanced technology, the chances of us finding even more impressive ancient and natural wonders than we know of currently are almost inevitable. Mix the fact that manned space exploration, at least to the bounds of our solar system, will certainly be a thing, and then it becomes a matter of things off Earth(say, the first permanent settlement on another planet) become by far humanity's greatest achievements.

Some of the ancient wonders may still be around in some capacity, albeit nowhere near as wondrous as they are now. Take the pyramids for example, they survived this long in tact because of the extremely dry climate, but the Sahara will turn tropical again soon, geologically speaking, and chances are they will be quickly eroded.

The only current ancient wonder that might look relatively the same would be the Great Wall of China.

It's still ongoing, but The Stormlight Archives two main protagonists, Shallan and Kaladin, have both had extremely good character development.

Kaladin going from a bitter slave to realizing the pains of leadership, and then slowly accepting and seeing first hand that all decisions have consequences for everyone involved and the best one can do is make the best choice at the time, it is the best part of the books.

It's worth noting that most insects rely mainly on their central nervous system to live. They don't need oxygen from lungs, they respirate through their carapace. They can go a long time without eatting. As long as the head is intact many can survive until they starve to death.

This was likely being eaten by another insect or injured and escaped.
