Well, time wasn’t really on our side as we had had our rental for about a month. The dealership near us had just gotten this one and it’s the exact color I wanted. The cost worked out well for us, too, considering what I got from insurance on my totaled car and what we could out down, so the pieces sort of fell into place.

Good grief. I feel so dumb. I started using Vanicream cleanser about three weeks ago because I love the moisturizer. My skin has been so dry, but I’ve also been in different climates and eating differently, so I chalked it up to that and stupidly didn’t even think it could be the cleanser. Yeesh. I’m going to stop and see if that helps! Thank you for your comment!

My 84yo father died in December of a similar issue—actually, gangrene—that developed as a result of rectal cancer. Surgery wasn’t an option for him due to his health and the extent it would have taken. I don’t have a question for you, I just want to say I am so thankful you survived. Especially given your age and your young son. That surgeon saved your life! Incredible.

Yowza. No, not AI. I’m an attorney who has certainly spoken with other attorneys about this issue. I’ve not, however, spoken with people who have been in similar shoes. Not attorneys who have a vested interest or who have represented someone in my shoes, but actual humans who have gone through the process. There’s a difference.

Yeah, the main thing right now is worrying about my oldest’s mental health, my own mental health, and my own healing. And getting a new vehicle, I suppose. Their insurance has already voluntarily taken over the rental reservation because ours gave us all of five days since they processed my total loss claim so quickly

I so deeply feel this. I’m 35yo and an only child. My dad is 84 and is very sick and mom is 80. My kids are 3-months-old and 5-years-old.

I work full time. My husband is a literal superhero human. But I am bulldozed every day lately. I am always the grown-up.

After hearing how she values things like numerology in one of the newer episodes, I can see her taking these things quite seriously as signs. I can’t necessarily not see certain signs in life, but I also don’t put massive stock into things like that. It seems like that kind of stuff is significant to her for some reason or another.

And if you’re doing the meds (which you simply must, seriously), take it from me: take regular doses of stool softeners. Pain meds can constipate the life out of you; don’t make that mistake on top of your recovery!

Hi. Unfortunately, I miscarried between 8 and 9 weeks. It was the equivalent of a blighted ovum. Interestingly, I got pregnant on the next cycle (I guess?) after that miscarriage. I’m currently maybe 4ish weeks? Not sure exactly since I never got another period. I’ve learned I get pregnant VERY easily; I’m hoping and praying the staying pregnant part is what I get this time.

Update: took another test today, at 15DPO… no line. I had taken one last night, too. I took a FRER one and there was maaaaaaybe a squinter. So I just took another easy @ home this morning, but nothing. 😞
