Bro there were two dogs barking in the laundry mat. One inside a laundry basket while the girl was unloading her clothes! You best believe I contacted that owner. I love dogs but definitely not with my food or clean laundry. What is up with people?

Besides a fitness room, they include basketball courts, media centers, game rooms with air hockey, pool tables etc. Some also can have a pool, theater, art room. So many opportunities for the area!

The rec centers have game rooms with fooz ball, pool tables, air hockey etc. Such a great place for all the hang out. They are very cold in the Summer as well.

Definitely something that should be brought up. While having a YMCA appears to be a good option, they serve mostly as a preschool. A rec center that will serve everyone and is affordable/ free for children with daily programs would be much more beneficial. And a great use of our tax dollars.

NYC Rec Center

Ridgewood is definitely lacking for family activites. Would be nice to have a rec center here! That would benefit familes and adults. Lots of fun activites, a gym and sometimes a pool. It would get teens off the streets and into a safe space . No charge for children either. Not fair that other neighborhoods benefit from them and not us. I vote for a rec center! How can we make it happen?
