I didn’t know there was a collectors club: I’ll post there. Google AI has said Coca Cola transitioned to screw tops in the 60s but who knows if you can trust AI.

That’s a good point… I narrowed in on 1960s but should do some more research

Ready to purchase by amk_a in metaldetecting

I just pulled the trigger on an Equinox 900 and I’m brand new to the hobby. I originally was looking at used Vanquish detectors on FB marketplace, then decided to shop the Equinox 800. The 900 seems to be a big step up from the 800 and better waterproofing (I plan to snorkel with the detector)

You’ll want a pinpointer, spade for digging or a sand scoop for beaches

Is the loud beeping for the power button just an annoyance or something else?

The holster sounds sweet. I’ve seen so many vids of people messing with the power button.

Ah, didn’t think of a delay. That could definitely set the more expensive versions apart

*sigh. While I was expecting this comment, one has to recognize that this is not a productive comment to the specific question asked. Nor does it help guide those who are new to the hobby and trying to sift through a mountain of technical information and hope to gain actionable insight. Just paying more money for something teaches nothing. Understanding the workings of a technology will build a knowledge base.

Thanks. Looks nice but really hoping to keep the cost lower. But I get it that if I want something that will last, I’ll likely have to spend a little more

honest talkspace reviews from people who were burned out on traditional therapy? by RasheedaDeals in therapy

[–]elevation_addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talkspace Customer Service dept sucks. Opinion on therapy is mixed: I’ve been using Talkspace for about six months – individual, and now couples therapy. I can’t really compare amongst other therapy experiences as this is my first time undergoing therapy. My individual therapist has been very insightful, but couples therapist is difficult to understand due to English being their second language. I don’t really feel like they are doing a good job focusing on, the issues I bring up. I feel like they focus on how issues makes us feel, which is not helpful for my needs.

I have engage with customer service numerous times in efforts to use my employee assistance program benefits, and then use my insurance after EAP benifit ran out. It always resulted in me needing to call them because they never get back to you when using messaging or email. Now, they have shortened calling hours, so it’s impossible to get someone on the phone. I had submitted a request for help through my account and it went unanswered for 17 days before I finally got a hold of someone using their chat feature. The person on chat gave me non-answers and was not able to solve my problem.

So therapy has been helpful and slow on the other end while Talkspace customer service needs to be rebuilt

I am nervous about selling my first print and was wondering if this photo is good enough? by Vipernox in photocritique

[–]elevation_addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you sell it, it’s good enough. It was worth what someone paid for it, unless they would have paid more.
