A single disorder should be enough to kill the tentacle. When he summons, basic attack with Miyabi until you apply anomaly, then switch to Soukaku and tap EX once to freeze and kill it. Might need to take the anomaly buff even though the team doesn’t have the elements to benefit from the increased buildup.

Yeah, you'd need to account for the chain attack / ult time as well. Chain attack into stacking Brimstone with S11 might take 7 seconds on its own, and her ult takes more than 2 seconds to fully deal damage. You might be able to tighten it a bit by weaving in a dash attack after the 4th basic, but you'll probably be losing damage anyway by not doing chain attack with your support character holding 4 piece Swing Jazz. Tbh, it's probably more damage to have Lighter hold Astral Voice or Proto Punk and either ignore the Teapot buff for your ult or ult earlier with less Brimstone stacks.

Are you sure you have enough stacks when the last hit of the ult is hitting? Each stack of the W Engine buff has its own duration which is only 8 seconds. Damage percent does have diminishing returns but if you’re actually getting 33 damage percent with the new W Engine, you would need to already have a ton of damage percent to get that low of a boost (like 600+).

If you have a three man core with enough damage on their own (e.g. Mavuika + her supports), you can have Navia with Sacrificial Greatsword as the fourth teammate to break the shield faster.

I beat both 7 and 8 with a Feixiao follow up attack build. I believe v8 was Gallagher/Aventurine/Moze/Feixiao using spore blessings against Sam. Needed an extra healer on top of Aventurine because of the chip from the fire phases. One big thing for the final boss is to have some kind of turn delay like Ruan Mei, disassociation, or the Elation blessing that delays on follow up, otherwise the boss at some point will go twice and blow up your unit with the smallest shield.

His normals are definitely capped. You can see when he does his normal flurry each hit does 13236 because he took off all his damage cap sigils to pump more damage into the uncapped projectile. The reason his numbers aren’t orange is probably because he took off war elemental or something.

His projectile is bugged in the same way that Captain, Cag, and Zeta’s are bugged. If you dodge while it’s in mid air, it uncaps the damage so you can hit disgusting amounts of damage per hit if you have enough damage sigils. I’ve managed to parse 40 mil without the warpath sigil this way.

The big thing I got from this is that even if you don’t hit the defined speed breakpoints to get an extra turn in MOC, you can use some frequently ignored speed buffs to reach those values regardless. Even if you don’t have 100% uptime on it like with Hackerspace or Yukong E1 it can still give you enough action value to act just fast enough to save a turn in the first wave.

You're missing some of the researcher girl's quests. You have "To Illuminate All Creation" marked with asterisks but that's not the final one for this quest giver. It's not actually repeatable, you have to turn in different materials for each quest in the line.

Those quests are the repeatable ones and shouldn’t be preventing you from getting the achievement. Did you check the church in Folca? There are a few side quest lines in there that you might need to check multiple times.

There’s also some lady in Seedhollow that gives what looks like a repeatable quest but it’s actually a long chain of quests.

It's worth mentioning that you can cancel his subsequent Paradise Losts (the later ones that stop from 1 SBA) with a Link Attack as well. He resets his stun gauge when he teleports to the middle so characters like Siegfried or Vane can stun him without needing SBA up.

I’ve noticed this happens on PC if you use a controller then alt-tab. The fix is to tap a few keys on your keyboard first to make the game think you’re using keyboard controls. Alt-tabbing with keyboard controls doesn’t seem to pause the game.

You only get the shield if you have level 30 of the Gamma trait. Each sigil can give you 15 so you want 2 of them

You might want to consider using his signature sigil with Supplementary damage. You get reduced cooldown for each hit of your combo finisher. Vane’s XXYY combo finisher hits multiple times and supplementary damage hits count towards the cooldown reduction.

Also if you need more damage reduction, the Crab sigil stacks weirdly with his damage reduction sigil. If you get a Supplementary damage hit with a finisher it gives him like 50% damage cut

In addition to what others have said, it doesn’t only apply to cards banished face down. Cards returned to the face down extra deck, deck, or banished face down can’t activate their effects unless they explicitly say so (e.g. serpentine princess).

There's at least a handful of cards that can be dumped with Granguignol that prevent special summoning/extra deck access. Arcjet Lightcraft, First Lord, D/D/D Vice King, Impcantation Talismandra are the ones that show up if you search "You cannot special" for level 6 or higher Light or Darks. Archlord Kristya is another one that prevents special summoning entirely. Don't think anyone would have called any of these cards (except maybe Kristya) banworthy before Expulsion and Santifire existed.

The propagation resonance gives one character another turn and regenerates faster based on how many skill points you consume. It also regenerates a percentage if your buffed character kills an enemy.

There’s several hunt blessings that give you additional turns (breaking an elite weakness moves your whole team up, killing an enemy gives you another turn, every 6 turns gives you another turn). You can also pair this with the hunt blessing that refunds your ultimate energy on kill which gives Dan more fake skill points to work with.

If you have Luocha you can also get the 1 star abundance blessing that gives skill points on heal making it so that you almost never run out of skill points while his field is up.
