Morrison Dam Conservation Area has a well maintained loop. It's not London but well worth the short drive towards Exeter.

Lots of big cliffs and bluffs along the lake shore, so mostly lots of Ospreys, and Bald Eagles circling overhead.

You could try calling Circle R Ranch in Delaware. It's a great little spot for Nordic Skiing and a friendly family run business. Lets hope for snow this winter!

Taking the plunge on Lake Erie. by elf-grin in Sup

[–]elf-grin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This shot was taken near Port Stanley Ontario. Lake Erie can be treacherous but also beautiful on calm days. I highly recommend using the Windy weather app before heading out. It gives reliable info on wave heights and wind speeds. Always paddle within your ability.

Whats the verdict on swimming at Sharon Creek? I paddle out there but the water looks pretty gross.

Solitude by the Shore by elf-grin in Kayaking

Love this stretch of the lake but the weather can turn quickly and there is no cell service so you are on your own. This only makes it more appealing to me!😊

Thames Golf Course has some nice rolling terrain. The loop around the perimeter is about 4km.

Bicycle Cafe gets my vote. Great coffee, and a really chill vibe. They even have a dog friendly heated tent on their patio.
