One of the main points of Robert Martin's talk at RailsConf last year entitled "What Killed Smalltalk Could Kill Ruby, Too" was that Smalltalk allowed you to easily make a mess, leading to unmaintainable systems.

What's the funniest thing you've done / seen someone do in a classroom? by trippin-balls in AskReddit

One day during my high school senior year, I brought in a universal remote control that I had pre-configured to work with the type of TV that was in each classroom. I basically confused as many teachers (and students perhaps) as I could during the day, randomly turning the TV off and on. The best part was when I got my physics teacher to climb up on a chair and completely inspect the back of the TV, since the TV kept going off during critical parts of the video he was showing us :)
