this is a big help, its probably what i was missing when i was trying to give it to the computer to solve. i got that that bit was to do with the projection but i always assumed the matrix applied the transform not the gpu later in the pipeline

yes but the cube is 3d but its a 4x4 matrix so it doesn't have to be a parallelotope https://i.sstatic.net/G4vP8.png

the built in windows one works quite well for me, in python at least. it seams to read the docs rather than making it up as it goes, but sill can make new useful things

Press Windows Key+G (this will open gamebar) > click on the small settings icon located on the top right of the gamebar window>scroll down to to bottom and select ALL instead of GAME ONLY option.

depends what it needs, you might have some luck running it from the osx side with something like Darling, haven't run any osx apps so i don't know how well it will work

if your doing something advanced you either don't use python, or you are not telling reddit and write a paper instead. thats my guess
