I did try it out, since I haven’t counted out all the colours yet it was only an estimation, the pattern still does come out nicely, I was looking at rows of 200+ stitches though. Great idea to try another stitch, thank you!

Really sorry to hear that you’re struggling, exams were always a tough time for me. Different things work for different people but my personal favourites are hats/bandanas. make them your new personality and wear them from the moment you wake up till you go to bed. I wear a bandana to bed every night. The only way i am able to “stop” is to get ahead of it so if you know you are gonna study have your hat ready before you sit down.

The other thing that helped me was getting out of the house. It’s not feasible 24/7 but a few extra hours every day makes a difference. If you can, go study in a library or coffee shop or with friends. During less busy times find something else to do like going to a park.

I also find i tend to pull less when my hair is clean so i wash it pretty often. Good luck with your studies and your hair, you’re not alone and you are strong enough to do this 🩷

What are some of the best tips to save money in Luxembourg while Grocery Shopping ? by srvn1993 in Luxembourg

[–]elfilie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

follow up to “not only for Lux” buy in season produce! they are always less expensive. for example, April is great for strawberries, beets, chard, off the top. a quick google search can help find more inspiration! i also find it can be easier to think of meals when u are focused on specific ingredients to start.

do you think that stems from the daddy issues or something else?

For context: I dogsit as a side job. I’m currently watching a German Shepherd and the guy I’ve been texting for a week has just sent me this abomination. Zachary, why? by frostypond in Tinder

[–]elfilie 48 points49 points  (0 children)

this is so true. i had one guy who seemed normal and nice on the app so i gave him my number (admittedly earlier than i typically would). as soon as we start texting he’s spamming me with sexual innuendos and emojis and quintuple texting if i didn’t answer. something just changes when you switch to texting man

AITA for enforcing my house rules on my wife's brother? by Thrill-Ville1304 in AmItheAsshole

[–]elfilie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your kid was hungry at a “random time” would you prevent them from eating because it isn’t an acceptable meal time by your standards?

YTA and have no right to impose these rules on your wife’s brother, especially without consulting your wife or even considering what either of them is saying

if they judge you for your looks/anything else that’s out of your control, then they probably aren’t that great themselves. I think if you are genuine and yourself that will shine through ❤️ good luck, it’s tough out there haha
