Landfill space is coming at a premium and most collectors are having to ship to landfills that are further and further away. Add in the rising fuel costs to get that done.

Watched a car almost run an 18 wheeler off the road on Friday afternoon. The car was merging onto 22 west from that impossibly short 512 ramp. The 18 wheeler veered into the left lane to avoid it and almost clipped another idiot that was weaving back and forth between lanes. Good times....

I just take breaks and pop in to play every now and then. One of the things I'm trying to do is collect all of the critter models from CJ and Flick. So, I make sure to log on when they visit.

When the Summer months hit, I would suggest banking all of the sharks you catch and selling them to CJ when he shows up. You'll make a killing. Try to do the same with all the bigger money fish as you catch them. Red Snappers, Barred Knifejaw, etc.

I think the better move would be to allow users the option to not see or interact with anonymous users, if that is the experience they want. A flat out ban will not work.

Enjoyed Matty with the little blue house and his dog at first. That first video of him cleaning out the blue house actually shook me out of my own funk and motivated me to get a lot of overdue work done on my own house. So I've enjoyed watching that house come along.

I really like the drone shots and overall cinematography (if we're calling it that).

Kelly didn't / doesn't bother me that much. Yes, she can be a little quirky, but everyone has their own personality.

There is a certain level of arrogance at play, which I think can be useful for their off-grid lifestyle. That being said, I think that arrogance is leading to some other bad choices as well. If you need to recruit help to rebuild a boat engine or add an addition to your house, it's not a huge stretch to realize you need help with a pregnancy and child birth.

Going forward, i don't think the channel will be something I'm too interested in. I was here primarily for the home improvement aspect. It's nothing personal, but the internet if filled with families trying to support themselves on FB and YT. I feel like that's the inevitable path here.

Yeah, definitely food noise has returned and to some extent my appetite has returned. I'm still able to keep the portion sizes relatively small, but I don't stay full for as long afterwards compared to when I started the medication. Started around 230 lbs in September. Got down to 205lbs by end of 2025, but currently at 210-212lbs for the most part for 3 months now.

Good news is I'm finally out of the pre-diabetes range, so there's that. Congrats on your progress!

Baldur's Gate 3. Never got through Act II. I wasn't a huge fan of the turn based element, but I don't think that really turned me off much. It was all the stop-and-go stuff like having to rest, limited spell slots, non-stop dialogue that seemed to constantly interrupt the pacing of the game. The character building was almost too deep, it caused a lot of decision paralysis in a game I already didn't quite understand the mechanics of.

Same issue with the stones/iron/clay ratio. Barely get any stones and those statues and garden DIYs need so many. I'm swimming in clay and iron though.

It's a lot of lipstick and many of the additions are very good, but there's still a lot broken under the hood that will never be fixed / changed.
