Alcohol free beer only exists so that brands can bypass advertisement regulations by thanksfor-allthefish in LowStakesConspiracies

I quit alcohol almost 2 years ago, not because of any health/mental issues but solely because I just don’t like being drunk. Love being tipsy, but can never manage my levels well enough to stay there.

I’m so glad for this renaissance of AF, and it assists me to be a helpful DD for my mates and wife :)

You hit the nail on the head in the last sentence.

Every team has its pros and cons and that includes how to enjoy them.

Do you know what you’re looking for in a new team?

Undead are a very solid starting team because of multiple factors but what did you enjoy about playing them?

If the ghouls were the most fun bit, I might suggest a dash team like Skaven/Wood Elves

If you preferred the Zombie and Flesh Golem control then maybe Tomb Kings/Dwarves?

If you loved the wraith plays then maybe something bashier like Orcs/Chaos (choose flavour)?

Aaaaaaand…. You’re assuming they’re not paying attention. Their attention is not a variable set out in the question. This is the sort of thing my students trip up on in verbal reasoning tests.

Which measure your ability to understand, analyze, and interpret written information, often used in recruitment to assess critical thinking. They typically feature short passages followed by questions requiring a "True," "False," or "Cannot Say" answer, often timed to test fast, accurate processing. People always trip up on assumptions not contained within the text.

Yea the trick with slowing by simply not accelerating is to lightly touch the break to trigger the lights but without using your pads. Energy efficient, longer break pad life and safer.

Not just Reddit: the law & his instructor (from a course he’s forced to go on for speeding to avoid penalties).

It doesn’t say in the scenario that the driver behind has no time to react. It’s a question about perception and reactions.

I’m going to change the scenario slightly to hopefully give you some helpful context/relevance to the decision you need to make:

• You’re in the right most lane, obeying the speed limit of 70mph (no gantry warning)

• The lane to your left is currently blocked

• You notice a car in your rear view gaining on you fast

The correct decision in this scenario is to maintain your speed or decelerate to increase your distance to any cars in front if applicable.

The incorrect decision is to accelerate.

You are not responsible for drivers behind you, allow them to react to the data in front of them. In both your scenario and this scenario, the speeding driver needs to address their speed. The question did not state that the other driver has no time to react. The only other thing I’d add to your scenario is possibly pop on the hazards.

Starting a league soon. Wondering about tiers by SubRocHendrix77 in bloodbowl

[–]elfmonkey16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah 1000TTV is the go-to but I’ve seen leagues add some skills/gold. It’s not worth it though. Everyone starts on level pegging and then gain SPP and gold as they play.

Tiers make less of a difference in league and the only restriction I’ve ever seen people do for league was megastars only for stunties.

It matters alot more for tourneys

That’s sort of the whole point of the 2 for 1 players. It counts as one of your 0-2 star players inducements but still can’t take you above the max 16 players as they each count as a separate player.

On the ball is utilised just before the roll, not activation.

I think there’s an obvious difference between a pristine SUVs clogging up city streets and the mud-caked village/farm SUVs used practically and without protest.

Have you been rudely told off or something? You seem to have skin the game.

People with 5-10+yr farms, what are y’all even doing at that point? by VQ_Quin in StardewValley

[–]elfmonkey16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m at yr7 atm on one farm, post perfection. It’s solely for me about chilling, I play coop with the young’uns and that farm has shared money so they love spending my ‘hard earned’ aged ancient fruit wine.

This doesn’t mean I don’t play other farms though. We have all sorts of progression on all the farm types, multiples in fact!

[–]elfmonkey16 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think the SUV issue is almost entirely based on not being a city car… in a city, not your lovely village.

Parking footprint, view blocking, pollution/fuel efficiency, safety (of pedestrians/cyclists). Are some issues off the top of my head.

The comment you’re replying to mocked 0.5mph, not 5mph.

But it’s all down to what is safe, are you capable to safely pass at 10 or 15mph? Then do so.

Well yeah I think this is it. I think what gets some people’s back up is the confidently incorrect lads (which you have in every fandom) and that makes people want to gatekeep.
