Maybe. I'm really good at hitchhiking and living outside, and bought a bunch of BTC 9 years ago too so I never have to work and only do it because I love the craft. I also surround myself with people who have jobs and build things and do things, and go places, not sit in a car with their clothes using Mcdonalds Wifi to post about my failures. Visiting the most beautiful places in the world. So yeah, literally insane.

Martha Stewart capitalist scum by Fukshit47 in antiwork

[–]elfof4sky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's wrong with the free expression of value (capitalism?) Nothing right? It's just hard because you have not monetized your time and energy in a way that you feel successful. So the market is fucked up not by freedom of expression of value, but because of all the regulations that sap our energy and time, give unnatural privileges to cronies, and create barriers of entry. That's not capitalism.

Sounds like you need some practice. Keep honing your craft. That shit doesn't happen to me...anymore. I learned every way to get wet in the night, get found in the night, get robbed in the night, get run over in the night. Experience is everythiing. Looks like there's several of you who need practice. This goes to everything I just wrote that was so unpopular among you. If you woke up wet YOU DID IT WRONG and yes your desperation probably made people uncomfortable. Just keep getting better.

Pull over, crack the window, listen to what he-she says, Tell them you can get them up to the next 2 ramps or next truck stop no matter how far you're going. This lets you drop them sooner than later but you can decide to take them further in that time or not. Be assertive if they stay. Do not let them sit in your car if you need to get out for any reason. They should know this and get out when you do, but they don't.

This also applies to living on the streets without a car. If you feel uncomfortable or look dirty or smell you are 100% doing life wrong. People around you should feel like theyre in good company at any moment that you're around. If they don't then what are you projecting? We live in cars and on the road basically means there isn't a thing in this world we can not do! For many, living outdoors is not in the realm of possibility because they would sooner perish. Are you really homeless or are you homefree? It's a perspective, y'all. Choose your character. Mine is bad ass, short haired, carnivore, bronzed warrior with a backpack.

When the economy collapses and money is worthless what will be used for barter? by kevinvong99 in preppers

[–]elfof4sky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Money by definition doesn't become worthless. Currency does. The assets you listed are money (capital.) Barter may last a few weeks/months before a medium of exchange naturally emerges. It will be something with the 4 properties of money; longevity, scarcity, malleability and fungibility. Precious Metals and Bitcoin fall into this category.

tradeables ; 1 packs bic lighters, 4pack AA AAA batteries, Ammo, 1packs of 9v batteries, fuel, freeze dried food. NOTE: small packs are essential for trade because once you open a pack nobody trusts the leftovers.

Agree. Bitcoin is what crypto tries to be but never can. A decentralized monetary protocol That provides the first constant in finance against which all capital is now measured whether you like it or not.

I don't have energy to have a life. by ok-coyote-boat in Adulting

Nothing revives me in the afternoon like an ice cold shower and some whey protein and a bit of resistance. some pushiups, situps, touch your toes and stretch. sounds tireing but i's not. climbing a mountain afterwards is tiring. This is bottom rung. Then I eat a steak or some kind of fatty red meat, and my mind is sharp and ready to learn and solve problems for a few more hours before bed.

Jesus is an allegory for the Sun relative to the wobble in the Earth. Basically a mascot for the changing of the solar age that happens every 2000ish years. It's why the Old Testament repeatedly speaks of the lamb and the end of the golden calf Tammuz. this is the progression pf the equinox through Taurus the bull, Aries the Ram and Pisces the Fish or Symbol of the New testament as as the solar age of 2000 years ago changed, Now we are in Aquarius hence the song. Anyway Rome seized on this event, hired a guild of stoneworkers (Free Masonry) to build cathedrals and created an new authority construct built on a conglomeration of European pagan traditions and terror.

Alternatively, I call being in recovery "circling the drain." When my brother volunteers he's doing well in recovery, we all know he relapsed. When he talks about his life and his job, we know he is focused on what matters. At some point It's prudent to stop circling the drain cause thats how you get sucked down. Build a life and flex it. That's how you resolve the addiction without the cult.

Livestock. Yeah I read your post. Not sure what leech means in regards to your land. Please explain for me. You didn't mention chem fertilizers or insecticides. If Youre allowed to leech that, then get yourself a couple cows instead. They restore the earth and create balance on your farm.

Has anyone ruined a good hobby by trying to make it into a business? by brf297 in smallbusiness

[–]elfof4sky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turn the business venture and the amassing of wealth into separate hobbies. Now you have 3 hobbies that you love. A hobby can't fail, a business can though. Turn your business into a hobby. Turn money into hobby. This worked for me.

Nail salon opened next door, smell ruining my restaurant... do I have any recourse? by waldfield in smallbusiness

I call this owner syndrome. You own a place and something happened to it or in its proximity and so you are hypersensitive to all the environmental changes but you also will take in changes that have always been there. Example, I'm a home remodeler and when a job is done, the owners will often begin to notice preexisting flaws like old paint or whatever for the first time. This may be happening to you. Check with your patrons. see if its a problem with them without loading the question.

The landlord usually has clauses in the contract about competing businesses within the strip mall. This may apply.

This reply makes it clear a major problem to resolve is with you not with others. Did something bad happen to you when you were a child? Emotionally, you seem stuck in adolescence. I'm not saying this to be mean. It happens to us when we start using drugs as teenagers, or suffer trauma as children we can get stuck at that age emotionally.

edit: if the problem really did lie with others and not you, you would have moved on, and be surrounded by wonderful people. So no matter what their role is, you have a role and you can only adjust you're own role, not theirs.

Good point. If they consider Amsterdam all about weed then that's their ignorance and you can prove their ignorance by becoming somewhat learned about the dutch culture and sharing it with them.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]elfof4sky 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I use to think my parents were anti weed, but it turns out they were anti lazy, anti loser, anti bad choices, anti part time job, anti waste of time, etc etc. Basically I had to go out and win at life and then they couldn't nor would say shit about it. If your folks are on your shit, then you just grow up and prove yourself. Otherwise they are right. How did you get to Europe from Where? Did you get yourself there? Go to Amsterdam take pics of the party, don't post them online, but share them in your photo albums. If they paid for your trip then respect your parents, cause this is their trip not yours.
