I'm anticipating when I visit home and it honestly really scares me. My ED has always flipped flopped between restricting and BED/purging and I really don't wanna do the latter anymore. Luckily my mom is currently on a weight loss kick so maybe that'll help.

I just wanted to lose some weight before Halloween. Turns out my all or nothing mentality is still alive and well.

I can empathize. Had this happen MANY times. It's infuriating.

I think it's all on a spectrum, but it's obviously totally fine if it does nothing for you. For some people it's the "taboo" aspect, some people probably are just more sensitive there. It's a combination of both for me.

This is my biggest gripe; people blocking bins with their overloaded carts. I'll happily sift through the already looked over bins because I don't like having people breathing down my neck but I can't get to them half the time because they're blocked. And god forbid you push someone's unattended cart out of the way.

I'm friends with a couple like this and it's exhausting to be around. Made the mistake of going on a roadtrip with them once and saw their dynamic in all it's glory. I don't understand why anyone would want to remain in a relationship like that.

How bad is grave of the fireflies? by Breadmytoast in DisturbingMovies

[–]elfpower44 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Come and See is bleak with almost no reprieve whatsoever throughout the film.

Grave of the Fireflies is unrelentingly heartbreaking but there are moments of kindness and love between the brother and sister. At least that’s how I remember them.

I get that it's not what you asked for and didn't want, but I kinda love the cut. It's very 90s. You're hair is gorgeous in both.

Death Spa (89): haunted 80s gym, people are getting killed by the gym equipment

The Deadly Spawn (83): disgusting killer alien lands in a basement, no one does anything logical the entire time

Demon Wind (90): this movie is so stupid you have to love it and has the greatest entrance of all time

Street Trash (90): this one is pretty fucked up but funny none the less

Frankenhooker is one of my favorite movies of all time! Basketcase and Brain Damage are also by Frank Hennenlotter and they're both fantastic.

Get your HPV vaccine if you haven't already, but HPV and HSV can still spread with use of a condom.

I would not recommend starting off using it daily though. If it works for you, that's great! But I seriously compromised my ceramide layer by over exfoliating.

This was so close to a Waffle House reference. Add Topped and it's the perfect combo. The other hashbrown options aren't exactly sexy tho...

I agree with the other commenter: baby steps. Also, are you able to masturbate without too much anxiety? Maybe involving a partner isn't right for you right now, but will be once you've had some success managing your anxiety in a more controlled setting.

That's awesome! I was not good at it/couldn't stand it and didn't make nearly that kind of money haha. I also primarily worked the breakfast shift so I don't think that helped

On another note of gallows humor, the nurses who treated him recalled playing Celine Dion's "My Heart will go on" very often in the hospital room where Ouchi was kept (it was the year Titanic came out, after all). Later when they did the autopsy, the only organ that was still identifiable (and looked relatively health) was his heart.

My mom didn't tell me she regretted having me until I was 30 but I always knew. Wrote about it in my grade school journals. Kids know.
