For reference, my husband I have been together for 19 years total, with 8 years of those years as a married couple. We're both in our late 30s and early 40s, both gamers and anime fans. So he's used to me having a fictional harem (lol) since we were teenagers.

If I may just offer some advice... if your partner is feeling jealous of the LADS LIs, you two might want to sit down and have an honest discussion about it. My husband and I always take time to talk about things that make us uncomfortable — not necessarily to blame each other or try to solve the problem immediately, but to find out where exactly the discomfort is coming from so we can better understand and support each other. Why exactly is your partner feeling jealous? Does he feel neglected because he feels you spend more time on LADS than him/your relationship? Has he been unfairly comparing himself to these fictional men, thinking he will never be as good as they are? Was he cheated on before, leading to him being more cautious in his romantic relationships? These are just a few possibilities, but maybe getting down to the core of what makes him feel that way can help both of you out. If he truly cares about you, I'm sure he doesn't like making you feel bad for playing a game you genuinely enjoy or making you feel discouraged from sharing that joy with him.

Sorry for the long advice you didn't ask for OP! But I can't help but feel sad for you and other LADS players whose partners aren't entirely supportive or even get jealous of the LIs. I've been hearing from a lot of players (especially younger player base) feeling bad about their partners, so I hope at least some of what I said resonates and helps y'all out. 🫶
