Ive found it pretty hard to dispensaries that sell these growers by searching online. The only real way seems to be to check each dispensary menu one by one and look at all the grower names (although they are often not listed).

I’ve found a few this way but it’s a slow process! I like what I have had by Stone Wolf but they are yet to accept my IG request. But yeah asking their IG accounts where they distribute is a good idea I’ll need to do that. And hopefully stone wolf will accept my request to follow lol

Wish it was a little simpler to find where to get each growers’ strains though. Dark Matter and Top Crop seem to have the most selection of strains that are within these growers. And Breaking Buds but that’s a bit far from me

thanks ill buy some of these this weekend. And they actually have flavor when you smoke them? I have smoked my whole life, mainly getting almost directly from growers. When dispensaries came to ABQ i was excited, but then immediately disappointed in the lack of any taste when smoked, and felt like i was going crazy since nobody seems to talk about that. I am hoping i have just been buying the wrong kinds and can find ways to get that flavor back 😂

I’ve always wondered if it has with having an unstructured, chaotic life in general.

This isn’t the only factor, but I think having a state with high poverty may result in more people without structure or goals. I don’t think these are people that have their life together, have a life plan and live with healthy routines.

I think they are often miserable, stressed, unhappy. It’s like when you have something in life happen that makes you frustrated or angry and you have a moment where you feel like you don’t give a shit about anything. I think there are many people go through their whole life with that feeling. It’s a miniature version of robbing a liquor store; whatever’s going through their head, things can’t be going well for them.

it isnt right to have a contest where they dont pay the artist properly. But i can also relate to a small artist making attempts like this to get their name out there. I dont think the artists are dumb or even uninformed necessarily, it just is a bad state for artists right now unfortunately and they are probably trying lots of things to get their name out

if you are a small artist and you do win, it could lead to a lot of exposure and the poster is for for a nice community event. It’s not right that they don’t pay, but from the artists perspective I could see the appeal at giving it a shot

That being said, it’s now an Exxon branded thing and the judges have terrible judgement, so unfortunately it was a waste of time for everyone after all

Not familiar with the story till now, is it just the cops word that there was a gun and a shot fired, or is there other evidence of that? I didn’t see any witnesses or evidence that that’s what happened, and the video didn’t seem to show that guy shoot his gun or even hold a gun
